Homes in Salford evacuated after police find suspicious devices

Several homes have been evacuated after police raided a flat and find two suspicious devices.

They made the discovery after raiding a flat on Grasmere Crescent, Winton, Salford, at 11.35am today.

Bomb disposal experts were called to the scene to ensure the devices were made safe and a cordon has been put in place for public safety.

Three people have been arrested under the Explosive Substances Act and are currently being questioned.
